A Danish apparel brand, designed in Copenhagen and knitted in Georgia. It was never about the socks — or at least, not just the socks.
The brand
It was about life. How you live it, how you style it. And how you like to respond to all the challenges you meet during your week.
Rain or shine. Good days. Bad hair days. Mondays. Fridays. You go with the flow and enjoy the chances and possibilities that occur.
Do you say yes — I do. Or are you the type that says no. AYDO — or don’t. It’s up to you.
The founders
AYDO is Michel Pfeiffer and Linea Deckmann, working out of Copenhagen.
The name is the whole idea. AYDO reads as I do — a vow, said about an ordinary week rather than at an altar. Who loves colours? I do. Who likes surprises? I do. Who wants more fun in life? I do.
The credo they wrote is not a description of a sock. It is a description of a way of living, and the socks are what that looks like from the ankle down.

Who knits them?
not guesswork
Every pair is knitted in Georgia, in a SEDEX-certified factory. We have stood in it. We know the people in it.
The yarn is OEKO-TEX® certified — tested for harmful substances from raw fibre to finished cuff. Combed cotton for the everyday knits, mercerised where we want sheen, merino where we want warmth.
That is the whole list. There is a ceiling on how engineered a sock can be, and we would rather tell you where it is than pretend otherwise.
